Planning Phase For Your Pond

Our pre-development planning phase addresses the first, critical stage of pond restoration. We assist our clients to identify, evaluate, and acquire the necessary information to determine the feasibility of their sediment-removal project.
Upon initial contact, we need you to supply the following information:

The physical address of the pond or waterway
-
The age of the pond, or when it was constructed
-
The surrounding landscape environment
-
Type of pond: spring-fed, private pond, retention pond, or public waterway
-
Budgetary concerns or restrictions
With this preliminary information, we will analyze, plan, and establish a viable proposal that will adequately estimate the cost of your project, outlining the logistics, labor, and material needed. There are no fees for this service.

During this initial planning phase, we can also identify any potential obstacles or restraints, and evaluate cost projections. Our conceptual budget estimates are based on time and material. Because all projects are different, our expertise and knowledge allows for flexibility in completing them. We are accommodating to all of our clients to ensure that their time and funds fall within their budgetary concerns. Any changes, (usually requested by the client), will be reflected in the subsequent contract.
There are factors which could affect the average accumulation of sediments in waterways and ponds such as, streams, flooding, culverts, heavy foliage, poor maintenance, discharge distance, and elevation. For a more accurate estimate, you may request a sediment and viscosity study (bathymetric study) to be performed to determine the actual sediment depth. This service is a separate fee. In addition, any permits, (if needed) or discharge-site preparations are not included in the free estimate. However, we will be happy to guide you in this process.
